HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY TWIN-WALLED FLUES I NEED?

I have just received my woodburner, it is time to get ready for winter.

This winter I will be using my new wood-burning stove, what do I need now?

How do I decide what type of tube I need?

The first thing to note! The first instruction is to exceed the ridge by 40cm and any element within 8m.

The smoke evacuation must not be disturbed.

If the roof is 15° or flat at 0°, it is advisable to exceed this by 1.20m.

THE SAFETY DISTANCES TO BE RESPECTED

I have already installed my wood stove, now I have to read the user manual, it will also tell me the power of the stove and the diameter of the Straight length to use.

This document will tell me how far I should place my stove from the wall, it is important to mention that in addition to this distance, chimney pipes also have a safety distance to respect and this is added according to the type of chimney pipe.

If I want to start with a single wall pipe to take advantage of the heat, the safety distance to any flammable element is 3 times its inner diameter. Example: an inner diameter of 150mm, the safety distance would be 45cm

When I use double wall pipe, the safety distance to any flammable element will be 8cm.

It's important to remember that I can't go through any flammable walls with single wall, and if I want to keep the single wall pipe, I have to stop 20cm before going through the wall and then switch to the double wall pipe in order to get through the wall safely.

INDOOR INSTALLATION OPTIONS FOR OUR READY-TO-INSTALL WOOD STOVE PIPES.

If the installation is close to the wall, you can start with our Chimney Flue Kits (close to the wall) 3m to 5m - all diameters is available in stainless steel.

In this configurable twin-walled kit, you can choose the desired length and diameter.

If the outlet of your stove is at the top, the kit will be connected directly and will go all the way up. You can always add our twin wall elbows and use them with the items on this kit.

Each pipe in this double wall kit is 1m long, in addition to this the kit includes: single to double wall adaptor/fitting, wall brackets, stainless steel pipe, roof flashing with a storm collar and cap.

Please remember that all items are also sold individually including the 12cm, 20cm, 30cm and 1m stainless steel pipes and you can add these to the basket as well, as all products on our site are compatible with each other.

INSTALLATION INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE HOUSE?

Most stoves have a rear or top exit and depending on this I will decide which type of installation I want, either internal or external.

With our double wall smoke kits you can easily decide on the type of installation and then complete the basket with the necessary additional stainless steel products.

When the pipe exits from the top, the question arises: will my installation be close to a wall or in the middle of the room?

OUTDOOR INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES FOR OUR READY-TO-INSTALL WOOD STOVE PIPES.

In this situation, the exit of my oven is at the back and I have to go through the wall, then I have to install the products outside, near the wall.

I can do this with a 1m long element in the kit or by adding an adjustable length element in my basket.

Our Double Wall Flue Kits for outdoor use are available in all diameters and lengths - 2.2m to 12.2m

Once outside, I should decide whether I want to put the product on the floor or on the wall bracket.

The wall bracket is not included in the kit and must be added to the basket manually.
